Brittany Holiday Gite - Places to Visit

Brittany Holiday Gite is surrounded by many beautiful places to visit. Here is a small selection of local attractions. 

Lamballe

The nearby town of Lamballe is approximately 6 miles away and there is a market on Thursday mornings in the central square and surrounding streets. There are some interesting old buildings and good restaurants. The old stables of the National Stud farm in the centre of the town are also worth a visit. Lamballe has an indoor swimming pool and several supermarkets.

Montcontour

The medieval town of Montcontour is approximately 4 miles away and has picturesque houses and cobbled streets. There are good restaurants and bars there also.

Dinan

Dinan is known for its castle and medieval buildings, the port, and abundance of restaurants and shops.

Fort La Latte

Is a spectacular castle built on the cliffs at the edge of the sea and was the setting for the 1958 film "The Vikings" starring Kirk Douglas.
